These cars were borrowed from New York locals(residents)and used for the 1974 James Bond film "Live And Let Die"
Les dunham is the person who cutsomizes Caddilacs and Lincolns from his Boonton,NJ shop called Les Dunham Coach. He custmizes Cadillacs and Lincolns with large grill caps, goddess hood ornaments, custom headlight covers("Fly Lights"), and custom spoke rims("Tirantulas or Spiders"). He's also REALLY responsible for starteing the car customization(as we call SLABS,Pimpmobiles,or SuperFliers) trend throughout the United States when customized Caddilacs and Lincolns, starting 1st in the East Coast part of the U.S. such as New York and New Jersey, as we see today since the 1960's and 70's, but mostly since the 70's.
He's also responsible for the 1971 "SuperFly" Eldorado in the 1972 movie SuperFly which really belonged to a real-life pimp named K.C.
Although the car appeared in the movie SuperFly, Les Dunham did not really make the car for the movie, he made the car for K.C., then later on the movie producers for the movie asked K.C. that can they borrow his car for the movie and he said yes, as an exhange they let K.C. appear in the movie also.
Plus, Les Dunham is also resposible for the Corvorado that appeared in the 1974 James Bond movie "Live And Let Die", including a few other cars in the movie that was also customized from Les Dunham Coach.
Anyway, the East Coast(such as New York and New Jersey) started this trend back in the late 60's and 70's and the guy who was responsible is by the name of Les Dunham who owned(still owns)a shop called Dunham Coach.
His cars appeared on movies such as the 1972 film Super Fly and 1974 fil by James Bond Live And Die. Both of those films were in new york and those cars were borrowed from locals(residents)in New York.
Many aspiring drug dealers, gangsters, and pimps modified their cars during the 1970s as a result of watching Super Fly.
Besides that, I'm a REAL LOVER of 60's and 70's cutstom Cadillacs and Lincolns, let alone Cadillacs and Lincolns themselves.

blackandgold51 then lost his fucking mind this shit ain't slab. Didn't not a 1 of them hoes have any candy paint and if you think so you must neva seen candy before in real life, plus wheres the 5th wheel at i show as hell didn't see 1.
No disrespect to you BlackandGold51 but that was not Candy Paint on that Eldorado(Any nigga who has been to Texas relays or who sees SLABS ridn in there neighborhoods everyday can conferm this), Second SLAB culture came from a nieghborhood called South Park in Houston, Texas. Swanngas on a Nisan doesnt make it a SLAB, putting Elbows on these economy cars has to stop.
whut da fuck mann dem aint no slabs mann they aint got no candy paint, 44 elbows in vouges pokin out and shit mann it aint got no fifth wheel and a wavin trunk mann whut u know bout dat so that would be a no, new york did not start slabs...get that shit outta here
Look at this video again man, the Red 1972 Eldorado has Candy Paint, Lady Chrome Hood Ornament, Large Chrome Grill, Soft Top, Chrome Turn Signals, and Chrome Belt Buckles.
So it does qualify as a "SLAB".
No 5Th wheel on these cars in this vid BUT they(people in New York and the U.S.)did have 5th wheels on their custom Caddys and Lincolns.
83's and 84's didn't come till' 1983-84(hence 83's and 84's) since this is 1974.
Florida started chevy on 24s and it spread through out the south its even in n.o i dont see u complainin about that. Jus like the north started gold fronts but the sout came out wit gold grills. Same concept here les dunham started the slab culture but didnt make it that far. Like i said before ppl from texas have that pimp mentality so they drive cars like that. Slab= slow. Loud. And. Bangin. Thats our version get that through your head.
i saw your comment. U should really do reasearch. Slabs from texas are diff from slabs from les dunham. Diff meaning similar background. What you dont kno i kno who les dunham is my grandfather is from new jersey. Its obvious u jelous agiant texas to post this. Cuz of you wernt you woulda never posted this. Besides les dunhum played out it was in the north what u expect. You from n.o why bother lookin up cars from another state that is stupid
regaurdless if the first person to custom a car like that was from the east or not who had the most appreciation in it and perfcted it? The south, mainly Texas houston to be exact. this guy in this vid started "super fly cars" not SLABS.
if aint wrapped in swangers in vouges it aint a SLAB!
