@Nultikill51- dude, what? Henne was a senior in 2007. Mallet started a handful of games in 07 when Henne was injured. Mallet knew he didnt fit the incoming system, and he almost went to Arkansas initially, thus, he transferred. This is not a post for or against rodruguez, as I would not want to violate the Prohibition on Coaching Change opinion Act of 2010, as set forth by Mgoblog
@neoconretard No are Mallet transfered before Rodriguez was hired bcuz he knew he would get no play time while Henne was there and our starting QB was never a walk on threet was a 4* recruit and Michigans offense is putting up #s like it never has been the only ? is that defense and why is Greg Robinson still there
@neoconretard The simplest awnser is that when BO took over Michigan in the late 60's, Michigan was in a bad rut. Not alot of people thought Michigan was going to get back to being a powerhouse program. His record against Ohio State was very good. The rivalry exploded in the 70's. I'm a Michigan fan and I'm not sure exactly why everybody kind of trashes Carr. Maybe in time he'll be thought of more highly.
@neoconretard i like loyd carr, but carr really got beat down by tressel at the end of his carreer and lost lots of games that he should have won because of his poor game management. overall you can't get everything that you want and i understand that, which is why i will always put carr in good regards especially with how rich rod is reversing everything that this program has always stood for.
@neoconretard Boy the Michigan defense was awesome in this game in 86. . .we NU fans cant wait to compete in a classier conference with the likes of Michigan, Penn St, and Ohio St. . .good luck in 2010 wolvies. . .Go Big Red.
@neoconretard Michigan football is what it is today because of Bo. Most of Bo's career the Big10 only allowed one team to go to a bowl, the Rose Bowl to be specific. That was a big reason "The Game" got to be what it is, win and go bowling or lose and sit home. Bo sat home with many, many top 5 caliber teams those days, as did Woody.
Bo put the strut back in Michigan football. When it was all said and done he was a "Michigan Man".
There's a picture of me being held as a baby 3 days old in front of the tv when it was at 3:10.

Interesting matchup, I just wished Michigan played Nebraska for the 1997 National Championship.
