For roughly the cost of a Winchester .308 round you could build a cheap but effective rifle rest to help zero your sights. Whenever I'm at home depot buying wood or dry wall I usually buy about $5 worth of scrap wood and let it sit for either fire wood or different assignments.
This is in no way supposed to be or replicate a gun vice, it is simply a rest I made to keep my rifles steady while I zero them. If you were to add some paint or glue some fabric to the rest you would have yourself a nice stand for displaying your favorite rifle. I just used a fence board and 2x4 but if you were to use higher quality wood and finish it you would have a nice piece, I dont plan on doing anything else to it but maybe spray paint it.
I made this to use in an upcoming video on how to zero your AK74 sights, I will be using the Polish Tantal shown in this video, it is a Century Arms build and since it does not KEYHOLE, there are plenty of youtubers out there who want to kill me, yes indeed the Polish Tantal is the biggest current commotion in the firearms community, so big even people who don't even own one are willing to MURDER anybody who has one that does not keyhole, if you make a video showing the rifle does not keyhole....people will indeed want blood
cool idea.

@darque29 yeah I just wish I had the time, resources & equipment at my disposal to build all the idea's I've come up with, It seems my best ideas come to me when I'm in water or after taking a few puffs. Oh well maybe in the next life
