Best Buy, Ocoee Florida: Poor Customer Service - Phone rings UNANSWERED for over 50 minutes

Bill's had tried to call the Ocoee Best Buy location three days in a row. The first two days, they transferred him to Car Audio; but nobody in Car Audio ever picked up the phone. The third day, nobody at the store would pick up the phone at all. Irritated, Bill drove an hour (from Leesburg to Ocoee) with the phone ringing the entire way. He just wanted to know where the phone was ringing in the store (if it was ringing at all).

The Best Buy store manager cared more about enforcing his company's "no videotaping" policy instead of getting to the bottom of why nobody in his store was answering the phone. He should have thanked Bill for showing him a problem that corporate or a district/regional manager would have written him up for.

If you have bad customer service experiences on tape, capture them and respond! It's the only way we'll ever see improvements in customer service.

  • @jadeyashleyy - And people, like you, that complain about videos where people have legitimate complaints without actually weighing the evidence in the videos is proof that people, like you, don't understand what a legitimate complaint is. Good customer service is answering the phone within a reasonable amount of time. They didn't answer the phone. We didn't want any freebies, all we wanted was for someone to answer the phone. When store management didn't seem to care, we posted this.

  • @esanchez5254 I know you're angry with the person that posted this but both you and I know that it is perfectly legal to film people in a public location. This is something your attorney will explain to you. The employee has NO reasonable expectation of privacy being at the counter of a store. Also, the customer was not rude at any moment nor was the person filming. This video was an illustration of the frustration of a customer, not a personal attack on the employee.

  • BestBuy is the WORST, just went there today, waiting for someone to help for over 30mins then the manager come out and can't even give me the price which shown on the product website. Later on the manager said well since you waited to long I'm going to give me a discount price which it is already for $199 in other stores (that's BS). I then said no thanks I'm just going to shop elsewhere and the manager said well its your choice (WFT).

  • @esanchez5254 - I think we finally figured you out. You know someone or ARE someone who got in trouble as a result of this video when Best Buy corporate caught wind of it. So far, YouTube has not removed this video because it wasn't in violation of their standards. You are so insistent that the customer is wrong in having simple expectations of their experiences with a retailer that you make me sad. How can you be THIS blind to the fact that the store's staff wasn't performing up to par?
