Fox River Flood

Remnants from Hurricane Dean plowed through the Midwest on August 22 and 23, 2007 and dumped a lot of water. This is the Fox River in St. Charles, IL

@KellyThundercloud You ARE right! MWS, indeed. I got it on the "B side" of a maxi single he put out in 1997. The single was Live the Life. Remember that one? Anyway, if you can't find it, or it's out of print I can get you a file. Shhh. Only if it's gone, though.

That is Michael W Smith, one of my very favorite artists. He is in Nashville and has been very popular since about 1981.

I would of never imagined in my life time that this could happen. I live further south in Janesville, an entire park is flooded, and a river by my son's home just spilt on to the roads. Unbelievable! Wishing everyone luck that it ends soon. Oh BTW, I like this song. Who sings it?

I'm doing a project and I have to find the historic flood levels for the Fox river around Plano IL - does anyone know where I can find some information?

I never thought I would see the fox river rise. It always seems so stable. I thought it would be neat to live on the riverbank, but I'll stay where I am for awhile inland.

I live right on the river, thankfully it didnt come all the way up our bank but we had to install another pump just to keep our basement from flooding.

If you live in Illinois or even better the Fox River... if you put one foot in the river you'd go down with the current. It looks like an actual hurricane came and hit us. Chain O' Lakes is even worse.
