A lesson in how to create screw type threads in the Mechanical CAD design application Autodesk Inventor. One lesson from the Inventor 11 Series available at CADLearning.com and the Student's site, campus.cadlearning.com
Too much trouble to create dark circles on a cylinder.
Use the "COIL" command to make real threads. Draw a equalateral triangle whose dimension across a side is the pitch. Use "Pitch and Height",use cut and viola!! You got the real thing!!
same here. I took Intro To Engingeering Design and I loved the course, Though I didn't take Drafting much at all, So I'm aiming to buy the software for myself =D
i have to use this in class every day i must say its a good program very powerful but i dont like doing it in class i wish i could make my own things!
How do you make "actual" threads, not just the textures? Specifically 1/2-28 Class 3
