  • Awesome video. Captives of a Concept was one of the books that really help be understand why the JWs really didn't have the truth. Once I no longer feard the "Organization", it was easy to exit the cult without fear of the outside.

I've been out for almost a year and it's wonderful.

  • congratulations! my friend has been out for 6 months and has never been happier

  • It may be a different organization indeed, however,God never had,and doesn't need an organization.Ray Franz'spirit directed and bible trained conscience led him to a personal relationship ...and helped all of us identify what bogus men with persuasive words are trying to pull. And for that, i am eternally grateful.

  • The one person with a true bible based conscience, was the one person they had to get rid of. It the GB were run by men like Ray Franz, this would be a totally different organization.

  • Thank you very much for this along with a small but useful teaching on how to deal with their influence that has infected our family.

  • Years ago, some JWs told me that God had given their elders specific knowledge about end times and that knowledge was put into their books and magazines. Do the JWs still have these elder prophets in their group?

  • hahaha!! I'm in this video!! I'm soooo glad I left :)

  • I have a general question for WTComments or anyone willing to give an answer: HOW MANY ACTIVE REGULARLY ATTENDING J.W. MEMBERS DO YOU THINK ARE HAVING SERIOUS DOUBTS ABOUT THE WTBTS SOCIETY FOR WHATEVER REASON? I MEAN ADULTS NOT CHILDREN OR TEENAGERS, WHAT WOULD BE THE PERCENTAGE OF FOLKS WHO ARE AT THE STAGE OF A DON CAMERON OR KILGORE OR FRANZ?? I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW THE ESTIMATE!! GOD BLESS

  • @HanDeckardJones I think the disclaimer at the end says "inactive member" although it is a bit garbled. The Watchtower Society would be quick to banish anyone who wrote a book like this, so Mr. Cameron is most definitely not an active member of the Society, even if he wanted to be.
