Vinyl sounds SO much better than CD. Nothing can compare to the experience of sitting in front of a pair of high quality speakers holding the album artwork in your hand.

@wemawa Curious because Vinyl versions today are actually made from the same source as the CD 90% of the times. We gotta be careful with the hype around Vinyl..

There's a difference between digital music and vinyl records. With digital music, you hear the music. With vinyl, you experience it.

the cd version only sounds good at low volumes, as soon as you turn it up it distorts and sounds really flat and harsh.

and that's why i love vinyl: you can turn it up as loud as possible and it still sounds good

At my local Mixup record store, they have these racks where hundreds of Viva la Vida CD albums are stored, and a special spot for one 12" album on the center on it. CDs are marked around $9 each, and this beauty is over $50!! Who'd believe that back in the 80s?!

I agree. when will the record companies man up and start marketing things back towards vinyl? Or at least away from this stupid compression war.
