  • I don't understand why celebrating this man's birthday should be significant. I'm sorry, I don't know who he is, and I'm not opposed to celebrating it, but why is it a big deal?

    I'm all for inter-faith dialogue and coexistence, btw, I just don't see what this measure has to do w/ it. Muslims observing Christmas, THAT'S a big deal. But unless Islam has the equivalent of a Pope or a Dalai Lama that I'm unaware of, and that's him, then I don't see the point, I guess.

    Care to enlighten, ne1? :)

  • It is important to have inter faith dialogue, Christians and Muslims will always have differences, in both our scripture there are contradictions that the other will not share. However there is must we must value in what we share and the respect for the other. Peace
