@iPianistYN A lot of people will have "answers" for you. In my opinion there is no absolute answer. Do what sounds best for you. Many pianist think there is "ONE" way to play each of the composer to "respect" their authenticity. I disagree, piano didnt exist at the time of bach and many other direction may be taken. Enjoy and try to respect yourself in your decision making toward the practice of a piece.
I've been a Demidenko fan since his Medtner recordings but had no idea this film existed. A true gem of a discovery for me so thank you for posting these. Said that, I must agree with ImaGhoti. Too many shots and too many cuts. Mr or Ms Filmmaker, please calm down! Otherwise, they're beautifully shot and beautifully played!

Can somebody tell me that this prelude&Fugue should play staccato or legato?
I listened many recording and they play 2 ways.I've to play this piece for my recital and now I'm practicing in legato.
