This was our visit to Tri-State Aviation in Wahpeton, North Dakota in August 2010. Tri-State became world-famous with many Gerry Beck authentic warbird restorations during the 90's through Gerry's fatal crash at Oshkosh in 2007. Today Tri-State is once again thriving in the authentic warbird restoration business with several projects in process. Many famous planes were born here: Texas Flying Legends Museum's two P-51's: Dakota Kid II and Little Horse, and their Japaneese Zero "Last Samurai" (one of only two flying Zeros left in the world today). The CAF Red Tail was also born at Tri-State Aviation.

Very soft and gentle presentation-it brings back tears as I am remembering my friend Gerry Beck. I truly miss him.
