Hey mate, it would have been better to say nothing at all, rather than say to a band that you think their material is not music. That's pretty insulting. What defines music in your opinion? Being able to hear a melody line? Discernible chord changes? I could hear both those things. It's ridiculously hard as it is to make it as a musician in New Zealand, the last thing a young band needs is to have negativity fed to them.
