Dang ! This brings back memories,,
As a young cat in the early 80's, I busted my ass after school and on weekends as a paper boy and all my earnings went towards building a 77 motomag frame that I had found. Bought the redline v bars, gold double clamp mongoose stem, gold araya wheels, decals ,oakley grips, messinger seat , 3 piece crank and a bunch of other parts,, When my bike was stolen it broke my heart.

Listen 90's dude....... This is 70's-80's BMX. Mongoose was a huge part of it then...Your comment makes me realize that you're nothing but a 90's idiot.

@ NWforager, Yes Citric Acid works better in my opinion and is much safer to work with. The fumes from OA are poisonous, Citric Acid fumes are not.
@Elcarlillos100 Chrome is different than Nickel, most of this stuff is Nickel but, it can look similar. Nickel and Chrome plating is an industrial process that must be done by a professional.

@a1u1s1t1e1n That frame was copper plated by Chromemasters in Nashville, TN. They do a lot of stuff for OCC etc.
