I grew up playing Latrobe and have talked to Mr. Palmer several and times the reason he is the "King" is because of his attitude on and off the golf course. He will spend time to talk to a complete stranger or even to sign something and when somebody told him nice shot he would look you in the eye and say thanks. He understood that without the fans he wouldn't be making money and embraced them. Even at 82 years old he still comes to the club to eat and play and talks to members.

Arnold Palmer was a huge womanizer, He had more women than Tiger by a mile. But yet he is the king??? Cause he didnt get caught doesnt make him a saint!!!

@golfershane i havnt evan played a year. and i can 180 yards. its only been about 2 months. now i tell my dad to take me every day

@megaDogeatdogworld The only part of the swing that matters is impact. If you actually played golf, you'd probably understand that.

Yoy simply can not say that a swing that won him 7 majors and 62 pga tour events sucks. You may say that you dont like how it looks, but it will not change the fact that Arnie's a true legend and a champion.

with a neutral grip the golfer can brake his hips at impact for a little extra clubhead speed.This is accomplished by straightening the left leg at impact but if palmer did this he'd hit a duck hook.

@chemicalkid100 I see it the same way,face slightly shut at the top.Guess that's why palmer was so succesful at the british open,he could bore his shots through the wind.
