This is the prototype MPC2000 and MPC2000XL replacement display operating in negative mode, blue backlight. The display is software selectable operation in negative or positive mode, in any visible color.

@Jazzybreaks We had to go with a different display which is white only (like the original). This one suffered reliability issues and a terrible viewing angle (even at its premium cost).

what now? I need to see more. or should say, I would really like to see some more of the tests, I want to see it hooked up to an mpc 2000xl. when will you have a video like that ready?

@LifeAbsolute I'm not holding anything back - when we have video of that you'll see it posted the same day. Everything so far has been simulated in the format of the MPC, but not MPC data. And...you're most welcome!
