The barrel was the factory 26". Which I recently had cut down to 24" to make it a little faster handeling. Stock is HS Precision. Unloaded the gun weighs around 9lbs. Scope-Simmons Aetec 3.8x12x44AO mounted with leopold rings and bases. 2 3/4lb trigger. This gun started out as a Win model 70 black shadow. I have about 1500 dollars invested in this rig since 2000.
Sorry about the commentator on here. Its my brother trying to be a golf commentator.

  • In the field you do not use perfect technique. You adjust to the enviroment and use whats available.

    The recoil is not all that bad..mine is in a A5 stock and a Broughton Barrel.

    A real good Moose Rifle..I like getting up in the hill country in Northern Ontario

    and watch open areas.. I have filled many Moose and Deer tags with it..

    is over 9lbs, I have used it for Caribou for over 10 years

    Thats exactly what I was thinking....so he now has a Rem .270 lol

    ......and whoever was holding the cam.......$hit..pick a new camera man or tell him to shutup!
