the 8gb improved that part, it can stand up (usb side touching table), stand on stage left (jack side) and even upside down

Yeah, the 8GB is a little thicker for starters. Thank goodness. The original N95 is just too thin for me. Sure, ti can stand on its side if you sacrifice a goat to Nokia.

Not a big issue though... If I need to sit it at a difficult angle I just prop it up against something.
