I heard Joe go into his room, so I walked over to his door and saw him laying face down on the bed. I went to Kevins room to tell him we needed to talk with Joe but when I looked in Kevins room he was gone.
Oh he must've already left to hang out with his friends. Guess i'm flying solo on this one. I walked back to Joe's room, and knocked on his door.
"Go away." Came his muffled answer, since he had his face buried in a pillow.
"Its Nick, can I come in?" I asked, coming in, even though he hadn't said yes.
I sat on the bed and after a couple minutes Joe sat up next to me.
"So i'm guessing you had the same luck I did?" I said, glancing over at him.
"Ha, you could say that. But I think my luck was alot worse than yours." He said, resting his arms on his knees and staring at the ground.
"That bad huh?" I asked, looking at him.
He looked devastated, I'd never seen him like this.
"She dumped me for another guy..." He said, still staring at the ground.
"Oh man...i'm sorry Joe, I know you loved her." I said, man, was that girl crazy or what?
"Yeah, I did. I can't believe this. I thought I knew her so well, and then this happens. Guess I didn't know her as well as I thought...I feel so used."(AN* lol) Joe said.
"I know. But you're obviously too good for her, you deserve better than that." I said, trying to cheer him up.
I wish Kevin were here, he'd know what to say.
"Thanks bro, but right now, i'd just like to be alone." He said, laying back down and facing the wall.
I took that as my cue to leave.
"Ok, but when you feel like talking again, my doors open." I said, heading out the door.
"Ok, thanks." He said, not turning around.
I hated seeing him like this, that girl needed someone to slap some sense into her, not that I would ever hit a girl, but still, somone should.
I went back into my room, and picked up my guitar and started strumming. I heard the doorbell ring, but I didn't pay any attention to it, mom would get it. A couple seconds later I heard my mom call my name.
"Ma'am?" I yelled down the stairs.
"There's someone here to see you." She called.
Wonder who??
"Ok, coming!" I yelled.
Heading downstairs, as soon as I got to the top of the stairs I saw who it was....
"Meagan?" I said, shocked.
I couldn't believe she was here. I walked down the stairs slowly.
"Hi Nick." She said, smiling a little," Can we talk?"She asked, I just nodded.
"Ok well i'll leave you two alone, just let me know if you need anything." My mom said.
"Ok thanks mom." I said, finally managing to talk.
I went into the living room and Meagan followed. I sat on the couch and she sat next to me.
"Listen, i'm really sorry." She said, and I just looked at her.
"For what?" I asked, I couldn't believe she was apologizing.
"For..for not saying anything when you told me you loved me, I was just shocked, no one's ever told me that before, so I didn't know how to respond. But-but now I do..." She said, reaching for my hand and holding it between both of hers. She smiled.
"I love you too." She said, her smile getting bigger.
I smiled back and wrapped my arms around her. This day just got a little better. I pulled back and smiled at her.
"I'm so sorry I left you earlier, I was just so upset and-and..." I stuttered to a stop. She just smiled and kissed me on the cheek. I grinned.
"Its ok, I forgive you." She said, smiling.
"Good. Now the next two weeks are just gonna be you and me. How does that sound?" I asked.
"Perfect." She said, smiling.
I kissed her softly. She smiled.
"So what should we do first?" I asked, holding her hand.
"Whatever you want to do, but it has to wait til tommorow, cuz my mom said I could only come over for a few minutes tonight, but tommorow can be just us." She said, smiling.
"Awesome. I'll think of something for us to do." I said, smiling. She stood up and I stood with her. She wrapped her arms around me and I hugged her tight.
"I have to go now.I'll see you tommorow.Why don't you call me later?" She said, smiling.
"Of course. I'll see you tommorow." I said, grabbing her hand and walking her to the door.
"Bye Nick." She said, smiling and kissing me on the cheek.
"Bye Megs." I said, grabbing her and kissing her on the lips.
She left with a huge smile on her face, and i'm sure my face looked the same.
This day had made a 160 degree turn, earlier I was so upset and now I couldn't be happier, I wish I could say the same for Joe, as I was heading for the stairs the door opened and Kevin walked in.
"Hey bro, did you have fun with your friends?" I asked.
He didn't say anything. I looked over at him and he had a frown on his face.
Uh oh, this didn't look good.
"Dude what happened?" I asked, putting my hand on his arm.
"Nothing." He said, I knew my brother, and this didn't look like nothing...


Ok guess what?! I'm gonna do jemi and Hold on. both of them!! I'll put up 2 of each :)

Lol yeah, i just looked at it today, and i saw those shirts they have that say "see u in the dark" they're 25 dollars! i was like holy cow! thats too expensive for a t-shirt, but i really want one. haha maybe i'll get one this summer with my babysitting money :)
