Prop D isn't About Public Protection

Prop D sent out a mailer claiming that the city has no other alternative for maintaining public services beyond a sales tax, and if we fail to pass this tax, your house may be burn down, and the police may not be able to help you. Yet at the same day we received this mailer (October 9th) a story broke in the SD-UT which said that Mayor Sanders, the main advocate of Prop D, has struck a deal that will likely have the city paying 500 million dollars for a new downtown stadium.
