I have the exact same setup routine as you do. However, when I then move the driver forward to be directly behind the ball, the driver faces naturally closes (since my hands are still in the same position, right by my inner left thigh). Is the face angle of your driver closed at address?
Casey that is a great tip. I was doing just what you were saying as far as opening the left shoulder. This made me pull everything left. I did not cut across it so I could not figure out what I was doing wrong until a playing partner picked up on it. What I did to fix it was to place my driver center of may stance as I set up then keeping my shoulders there move my hands in behind the ball. Good tip Thanks!
