The problem is not just ratings, he missed the point here.

Merchandise makes them more money than a couple of tenths in the Neilson ratings. Bryan, Punk, and Ryder have all been selling good amounts of merch, which matters.

There is a lot less Cena-hating amongst the smarks since his match with Punk.

I really like the way these guys talked about it. Batista's heel turn was great.

You can disagree with him about Bryan all you want, I do, but he is entitled to his opinion. These guys were wrong about how long it lasted and how well it got over. It has got over much better than they predicted it would.

The difference between the 2: Danielson would've never capitalized on a lifeless giant, in a World title match that only lasted a moment. For a mid-card title, I can understand. But no World title should ever change hands like that, especially from a guy who I thought higher of.
