  • I have a solid knee plate and I basically face the back of the racing chair when transferring, put my leg that is furthest from the racing chair in, then the other leg and twist my body around ask I lift myself into it.  It might not look pretty, but it works LOL!

  • I think I mentioned that my son was paralyzed (on Oct 22 08) after your other videos brought me much comfort and re-assurance in anticipation of the changes he is meeting every day. I am pleased to say that the racing wheelchair videos have been helpful as my son just completed his first week as a racing wheelchair athelete. It is much harder to master than any of us imagined but it provides a great sense of accomplishment . Thanks again for your video gift. Kind regards -
