Here how I would have like to see the outcome of the switch

WFLA 8 NBC

WSTP 10 ABC (Scripps Owned)

WTVT 13 FOX

WFTS 28 CBS(Scripps Sold)

I would have rather Scripps sold WFTS and 28 become CBS, and ABC stay with 10 and Scripps could have bought WTSP and beef it staff up. Also I wish Scripps would of bought KTVK in Phoenix and have a duoploy with KNXV if allowed back then. Meaning ABC would have some better affiliates and Scripps would of have a more est. newsteam in both cities

10 was better off staying at ABC while TV-38 (WSUN/Defunct) should be a CBS affiliate leaving WFTS independent with no newscast (I know some independents have newscasts i.e. WPIX 1980's, KTTV 1980's). ABC ACTION NEWS is working hard to be a crappy news team (which is sucessful according to most of the comments on this video).

I been to Tampa twice. First in 1998 and most recently in August of 2009. WTVT FOX13 was and still the BEST!!!, I used to like WFLA's presentation back in 1998, but now I'm not impressed. I really like WTSP's look, It's clean amd modern. WFTS looks better than when I was last in Tampa when they were called 28Tampa Bay News, But FOX 13 owns the Tampa Bay news scene.
