  • The XLR connector is on backwards, the cable connections should be on the right hand side of the camera. Turn the mic around also.  just an FYI

  • @dfte11a this video was taken on a webcam so it reverses the image and makes everything look opposite.

  • is the tripod mount universal sized or will it need some special one from sony?..

    And, how does the audio meter work?

  • @gus361 hey, the tripod mount is universal, it has the standard screw mount as most still cameras and video cameras. The audio meter is located on the screen just as most settings are, you can choose between auto volume, which really works well even with 2 mics plugged in, or you can switch it to manual. The meter is displayed as basically an electronic bar with just a few levels presented. Auto usually does the trick but I have messed around with manual and it works great too.

  • @good4nuthin1 Yes. It has two 3.5 mm stereo jacks built in, a headphone and a line-in jack. It's quite the camera.
