"In the shade of the old apple tree" was recorded by Irving Gillette (Henry Burr) and was released in April 1905 as Edison 2-minute cylinder 8958. I apologize for the stuck groove at the beginning of the record.

  • I kind of researched this cylinder because I wanted to know more about it and I discovered that this cylinder is a male quartette performed by the Columbia Quartette and it was made from 1904 to 1906!
