Taken from a graduate lecture, this episode shares advice with parents who wish to incorporate an unschooling philosophy into their parenting. It argues that we need to trust children and respect their freedom.
hear about the psychological study where a baby who had a disease ate more of a food that cured the disease when given a choice? this was before regulations on psychological studies obviously.
I have 6 children and started unschooling for about 7yrs now. I want some advice on how to handle the highschool years and preparing them for this world once they leave the home. My son wants to play basketball on a higher scale and where i'm located there isn't much offered to the homeschoolers. He also wants to attend college how do i prepare him for this.
Nice enthusiasm! Glad you posted it. My kids are 17, 19 and 22 now and never went to school and the differences between them and others their age can be stunning sometimes.
