Simon was definitley entertaining to watch. Not sure who is the "better" guitar player, nothing the group plays requires extreme talent guitar-wise. But what I liked about Simon was how crazy he seemed..... not crazy like, went nuts on stage, but there was just an odd ness about him that always made him fun to watch. But Robb kicks ass, and he's very nice in person..... Whatever, long as the group keeps cracking out CD's Im happy.

@vedder530 Actually, quite the contrary... being a musician who's favorite band is Trapt... the groups guitar work and drum lines, and the bass lines, are VERY advanced. Simon was an amazing guitarist at laying down well-thought guitar lines, but Robb can play them all... Robb also seems to have more of an attitude that fits Trapt.

probably simon, although i love robb's sense of melody and use of phrasing. It's always hard replacing a founding guitarist who defined a band's sound first. I feel sorry for those players who aren't ever really at home with the fans. Either one is a great player, and both have made major contributions to trapt's awesome originality!!!!!!!!!

This is a no brainer....without a doubt, its all about Simon Ormandy! I mean, the guy is not only one of the best guitarist out there, but he's been in Trapt since day 1 and has been apart of all 3 studio albums. Nothing against Robb, he's great and all....but when its all said and done....no one can do it best in Trapt than Simon himself

Simon Ormandy is deffinately a talented Guitarist. I personally know Robb Torres and saw him develope as a kid, his hard work all u to graduating from the University of Miami School of Music. He has great stage presance, I hate comparing artists...Each has brought something great to TrapT..I have seen Robb play many styles from the classics (classical Guitar) to the Heaviest Metal..I wish TrapT all the best and Much more success...Keep on Rockin' Robb!
