Market expert Roxanne DeBerry is reporting that homes are priced extremely affordable in the north dallas area and employment continues to increase, -- and that that by itself should have a positive impact on the real estate market in the north Dallas area.

North Dallas market and Texas in general continue to outperfom the U.S. in employment based on a recent article in the Dallas Morning News.

Texas non-farm employment rose 2.4% from August 2007 to July 2008.

For the same time period the U.S. decreased .1 percent.

Unemployment in Texas rose from 4.3% to 4.7% from August 2007 to August 2008.

Over the same time period the U.S. went from 4.7 to 5.7%. The north Dallas Metropolitan area ranks 8th in job growth in the state. And overall the Texas economy is strong.

Based on the statistical information, Roxanne believe that the housing market will continue to be very stable through the end of this year and that the area will see a pick up in both home buying and selling starting early next year.

She says based on the latest statistics from the North Texas Information System there are fewer new listings coming on the market than last year and this could lead to higher home prices in the future. So the opportunity to get the best home at the lowest price is now.
