Leah Charles and Michael Underwood open the first CITV of 2003.

2003 would see a few editions and one dramatic change for CITV. First of all, CITV celebrated it's 20th anniversary. Tim Dixon joined to present with Leah & Michael...but soon disappeared after only three months! Roland Rat guest presenting for the first time since the mid-1980's. The studio was given a tiny face lift from April. Kate Mclntyre and Anna Williamson became regular relief presenters filling in for Michael throughout the summer. CITV broadcasted on and off from the Gas Street studio garden in August (the first time since 1999). CITV's last two specially themed weeks, 'You Can Do Magic' and 'Alien Week'. CITV X-tra Bits, featuring a preview of shows in the autumn. A new look was introduced from 8th September, which saw the introduction of Swag Bag, the first puppet regular co-presenter since Scally The Dog. Finally, Leah & Michael presented together for the final time on Christmas Eve...without an announcement to the viewers.
