  • Your work is fascinating. I love how your teacher transformed the situation to empower you! That's really creative. I wish, though the narrative was told in a slower speed of speech. For newcomers to the US who can benefit from this story, they may not be able to keep up with the speed of the speech here. Or, possibly can you add subtitles (captions) to it, so people can read along? Thank you.

  • @alaivani Thank you for your comment and suggestion.

This video contest had a 3 min. limitation. I regret using a faster speech tempo but that was necessary to fit the content into my digital story. I hope you understand. May I suggest that limited English speakers might replay the video for added support for understanding. I have added some annotation. I hope that is helpful.

  • Thank you, Dr. Taylor! Though we have not met, your kind words mean a lot. Thank you for watching my digital story.

  • I would love to find and reconnect with Miss Sanders so I could personally tell her how much I appreciate her and how much her actions and kindness impacted me.
