  • How did you get the soft shapes in the background (at the top)?

  • @TheDragonCael I masked the upper edge of the flowers and leaves, then I painted the background wet into wet (with lots of water)

  • what is that thing called at 2:37 ?

  • @MrsAmiiPattinson This is the pen nib I wrote about earlier. It's a steel nib mounted on a handle. I use it instead of a brush for fine lines. You don't have to fill a pen so often as a small brush.

  • are they painted from photos??

  • @MrDonowhoo I work mostly from real life but also with a back-up of my own photos in case the flowers wilt during the time it takes to finish the painting.

  • Hi, i´m from Mexico, i just want to thank you for sharing this, it's truly inspiring and amazingly beautiful... Please if you could answer this, how much time have you practiced painting? And how much time did it take you to achieve such a defined style? Thank you again.

  • very good

  • Amazing, so beautiful!

  • what is that tool you use to make really small acturate paint lines? Looks really helpful.

  • I must have watched this video 20 times. Your attention to detail is impressive. It inspires me to be more disciplined with my watercolors. Thanks.
