@Vyppaaa11 Yes it's great for short trips and that's about all I do anymore.

@mobiltec No problem, I prefer the large GI alice but the medium is good for shorter trips.

This is the standard size for an ALICE pack but when in use by soldiers it is packed full and has a lot of other stuff attached to the outside making it look bigger.
