both the niiko & the sharax are part of the somali culture and are danced by somali people. the ignorance here is astounding.

I am from the oil rich state of Puntland, so I don't know what you are talking about. Just because I know about the dance, and different aspect of the Somali culture (north and south) doesn't make me a southerner. Long live the oil rich state of Puntland. Amen!

For Balanbalis's information I'm from south and all these dances are danced, we have niko sharax and dhanto etc.
