The Jesus Lizard is the greatest live band ever ...only The Birthday Party song you can compare to ANY Jesus Lizard song is six inch gold blade, an Burzorg33 are u srs? They hung out with Timothy Leary, David Yow was the singer for ScratchAcid for gods sake. I saw The Jesus Lizard maybe 12 times and never saw Dave Yow without a beer in his hand. The Jesus Lizard is ALL ABOUT DRUG just like Butthole Surfers and most of the other bands on Touch @ Go

Great that they were able to produce such extreme music without over-indulging in drugs and destroying themselves in the process, as so many have done. Jesus Lizard rocks just as hard as it did in the nineties when I first listened to them.
