had this surgery 6 weeks ago, would recommend this to anybody since my op i still have some discomfort dull aches and what not but nothing compared to the pain pre op. and its only been 6 weeks, cant wait for the walking to begin though im over bloody crutches!! not too bad an operation to have went better than i thought, good luck to anybody who is about to have this procedure!!

Getting an ilio-inguinal PAO Dec 19, next week! Have been blogging about it: middleaged-blues.blogspot.com and will update it as I recover. My surgeon here in Richmond, VA said screws are only removed in about 10% of cases he does, and only if they are causing pain or discomfort.

@lilfoot2471996 Same here but I've already had one hip done getting the screws removed of that one at same time my op is next week :/

I am mulequeenchessy but you tube wouldnt let me sign in so had to change name!!! I was having real pain 8 yrs after surgery when laying in bed, Had a steroid into joint 2 months ago ( i know its not permanent) but i havnt needed a painkiller since and i have lost that feeling of hopelessness, its great so if you are given the option give it a go !!!

Im getting my hip done next month.Im only 22 they did tell me i may need hip replacement after 10 years. How is your recovery process? My doctor did tell me im the worst he seen.

I'm 15 and I have to get this done to both of my hips ad I soo frikin scared I cried watching this.. hate needles and crap.. I don't want to do it
