Amazing video footage recorded at Highams Park School of a Corn Snake taking its food.
The Corn snake like the Boa Constrictor and Python are non-venomous snakes, they kill by constriction. Large adult specimens of Python can kill people.
The adult Corn Snake is some 5 foot long and 2 inches wide at most. It originates from North America.

  • Yes, the mouse was dead - From "Caring for Corn Snakes":-

    Feeding

An active snake will happily eat every 10 days or so. They will eat, and should only be fed, killed prey. A snake who is not hungry when live prey is introduced into the enclosure often finds itself becoming the meal, ..................."

  • An interesting observation, however there are issues regarding the use of live mice.

  • Was the mouse not already dead?

  • @ZachariasLePuertre Hopefully, you end up having all of your food blended together for you for the rest of your life. It's about the same difference.

  • Yay. Another predator forced to eat like a scavenger. What wonderful torture to watch.:-|
