2008 Sage Hit Football Blaster Box Break

On this episode of Wax On we are breaking a blaster box of 2008 SAGE HIT Football.

I made a quick run down to the local big box the other day and came across these cards. Having been out of the hobby for a few years I was unfamiliar with the brand but decided to take a chance anyway.

This box is of the high series and features 50 cards in the base set. There are two subsets in the product; Teammates and Standouts. There are also three insert sets Write Stuff, Saturday Colors, and Make-Ready. The Make-Ready inserts are all sequentially numbered to 50.

Each of the single player base set cards come in an autographed version. The autographs also come in two parallel versions; silver and gold. The gold autographs are sequentially numbered to 250.

The Write Stuff and Saturday Colors insert sets also come in autographed versions. The Write Stuff Autographs are sequentially numbered to 25. The Saturday Colors gold parallel versions are sequentially numbered to 100.

In my box I received a stack of base set cards, two autographs, one of which was a silver parallel, and a base set Darren McFadden rookie. As you can see there was not much in this box but I did enjoy the simplicity of the product and the look of the cards.
