  • 1) If the numbers actually have spaces and the numbers were in column A, put this formula in cell B1:

    =SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","")+0

    and copy down. Then copy column B and paste Special-Values

    2) If the numbers have a custom Number format like "000-000-00-00", then apply the General Number format to remove the Applied Format (Ctrl + 1, on Number tab click on "General" on left)
