Highway 405 music video (Start the Machine)

This video was shot East of the QEW highway in Niagara-on-the-lake. I was in the front seat, while my mom was at the wheel. Myself, my mom and her friends were heading down to Buffalo to do some shopping there.
We are driving east of the Highway 405 and you can see there is only one interchange on the highway. Stanley Avenue (regional road 102) is the name and it was the last exit before heading into the USA.
East of that interchange, you can see the dedicated express truck lanes (which was part of a project last year) and at the end of Highway 405, you will see a toll plaza (tolls are paid upon heading back to Canada from U.S.) and a few trucks waiting to enter the bridge. You can also see the through traffic entering the bridge, which leads you to the U.S. into a town called Lewiston in New York State.
I had conceived this idea a month earlier from our earlier trip. I placed some music on the video, in this case, "Start the Machine" by Angels & Airwaves.
The video was filmed on August 14th, 2006.

I agree with you, mate.
If I recall, when our Canadian dollar hit parity with the American greenback, cross-border shopping was going strong. You might often see some Ontario (and a handful of Quebec) plates at the area shopping malls (Walden Galeria and the Fashion Outlet malls are the known generators)....
