Playwright and Author, Victoria Kneubuhl, discusses Native Arts and Theatre in conjunction with the National Museum of the American Indian production of "The Conversion of KaAhumanu". Set in Hawaii during the early 19th Century, this play explores the complex relationships among Christian missionaries and indigenous women forty years after the islands first contact with the West. Honolulu-based writer Victoria Kneubuhl is a recipient of the prestigious Hawaii Award for Literature.
