Mine is doing the same thing. If yours is less than 1 year old, call Drobo support. They will replace the failed component whether it's the power adapter or the unit itself. Out of warranty? You can buy DroboCare and make a claim that way.
Have your proof of purchase ready. Mine is doing the same thing, replacement is on its way.
