@MSTS1 Well this is the TV38 I remember first (Love it) I would love to see the Bruins opening from the early 70's.............it was the best opening of their games from 72-76, thanks for this!!

I get this channel on Dish Network

ya, I was so excited to see that sox version that you posted - first one I saw with the actual song! The Bruins one had the entire song and I just loved it as a kid for some reason! I'll keep looking. Thanks for what you have on here though! WSBK memories really stuck with me. I used to watch it a lot on the weekends for games and movies.

was summer theater that thing they did one summer at 11pm with 2 half hour sitcoms from the 50's and early 60's (Bachelor Father, Dobie Gillis, Topper, People's Choice) - making 10 episodes of different series each week?
-
I just watched channel 38 in the 60s and 70s for the Bruins (when they were great!) and Speed Racer!
-
I think it was WIHS-TV then.

Don't know if you can answer this question, but this is regarding the Mormon's National Anthem used by SBK--except in 1986. I'm wondering when that was first used by WSBK at sign-off and sign-on. I read somewhere the Boston Pops recorded a version and it was set to a film montage around Boston. Seeing that early logo was the impetus for my question.
Does anybody have video of the Bruins' version of the WSBK TV38 promo using "The game is on TV38" to the tune of "The Heat is On"? The promo had game clips and a shot of the T going over the Longfellow Bridge. I've been searching for it for years! thanks!

I should mention that although not the Bruins version you're asking about, I do have the Sox version of that posted.

There was only one TV38 logo I knew of since here in CT, WSBK back in the day, was on cable here. This looks like one of the original TV38 logos.

The logo that you remember was the TV=38 single-block style that replaced the one in this video in the late 70's. It was used until they sold out, and became UPN-38,('90s).
