the accidental videoart

La mia idea è stata quella di realizzare videoarte partendo da un'opera d'arte virtuale interattiva. L'opera d'arte è l'installazione "The accidental artist" dell'artista newyorkese Alan Sondheim, alias Alan Dojoj, nello spazio espositivo Odyssey art di Second Life. Nel montare e assemblare le riprese con una parte sonora, ho cercato di ricreare l'impatto emotivo che questa installazione ha generato sul mio avatar, che l'ha fruita direttamente in Second Life.
La tecnica machinima utilizzata per fare videoarte, con l'arte, in modo accidentale.

My idea was to make video art from an interactive virtual artwork. The artwork is the installation The accidental artist by the new yorker artist Alan Sondheim, alias Alan Dojoj, in the exhibition place Odyssey Art in Second Life. When I edited video shots and add sound, I tried to recreate the emotional impact that this installation had on my avatar, who enjoy it directly in Second Life.
The machinima technique used to make video art, through art, accidentally.
