  • Think this is from a show called 'The Roxy' made by Tyne Tees Television. Basically ITV's very shortlived answer to 'Top of the Pops'.

  • How come Hook doesn't have a broken spine from that insanely low bass playing.

  • barney should shave his arms better :P

  • @astrolabe1976 In the '80s, New Order was the only band that played live on TOTP. I never understood why other bands didn't play live.

  • Love New Order; love this song! Thanks for posting!!

  • Having won a Victoria Cross for his valour fighting the Zulus In South Africa Private 'Hooky' took to the guitar. However after many years of playing his bass guitar ridiculously low his back wore out :)

  • Peter Hook will batter you.

  • desde medellin colombia tengo 28 años y amo esta musica la ola nuw gey de los 80.s me uviera encantado vivir esa epoca

  • The original was, 'Now they're taking drugs with me,' but Stephen Hague our producer made us change it because he said it wouldn't be a hit if we kept that line in. He was right. It was a very big hit, but we chickened out. I change it back sometimes live."
