jet skis can be dangerous and asses that have come close to killing my friend. and its always a big chopped up stink fest when they come and invade a perfect glassy session. Dory's are different and agreed we have to watch for them but there is no way we not gonna surf the cove where the dory lands, and never the less when a dory land on some inexperienced kid or visitor it wont be OK just because that is where dory's are allowed to land we all gotta watch out for each other...

no they actually do not in pacific city, there's a landing spot in pacific city for dories specifically, and shut up a few boats and jet skies do not make the ocean a stinkfest. It's extremely clean up here

I'm a surfer too. You don't understand about dories. They really can't stop. Dory fishing is a tradition in the Northwest and there's a special landing spot for them. Surfer's have everywhere but a limited dory spot, and they tend to go there even though they aren't supposed to. Mixed use, eh.
The Dories come onto the shore riding the back of the wave. They CANNOT stop once they commit, and they can't see a surfer in front of a wave. So surfer DO have to look out for them.

Hater you probably got a jet ski too and try to land on surfers heads with it, scare the shit out of sea life, and turn a perfect glassy day into a choppy stink fest.
for your info surfers, swimmers, and anything in the water even rocks are like pedestrians on the street THEY HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAYYYYY!!
Keep your eye's open use caution share the sea its not yours.
