The Doctor, Polly and Ben arrive in a base in the South Pole lead by General Cutler. A strange planet has appeared called Mondas and is sucking the life out of the Earth. The Cybermen have arrived and will suck the planet dry... but what is happening to the Doctor, has his body grown a little bit thin?...

The Tenth Planet s a bloody super story, the Cybermen in this story are billions of times better than in the colour stories which are utter crap and tosh compared to the black and white cybermen stories. I also like the Cybermen's voices better in these stories they are much flatter and more electronic in tone. The cybervoices of the sixties, are very similar in sound to electric razors they tear through the viewer and buzz very savagely. I never liked the colour cyberstories as much as these.
