Great job mate!

phenomenal video, my favorite part was probably that you had the great red spot on jupiter actually swirling and the dying star. I am also wondering (like albounet77) how you made the asteroids. Was it in a 3d program or in AE?
-
are your images 3D ? or 2D?

Wow dude that is beautiful, it is based on Videocopilot's tutorial right? If so please please please tell me how you were able to find different location. Like he used California, how did u find the pictures of Oujda city at different zoom levels?

@vaedriah Hi vaedriah!
Thanks for your comment.
Yes it's based on Andrew's tutorial and it's a 6 level zoom that I could grab from maps.google.com by typing oujda Morocco in the search field then I took differents screen snap shot at different zoom level using the zoom slider on the left side then I modified them a bit in photoshop to match colors and finaly brang them into After effects
That's all

@mktnet hey dude I am having a problem, when I import the "Earth" that I got from video copilot, I see a white square around it, and in his tutorial that does not happen, life for some reason I am not seeing it transparent.

@vaedriah
Hey vaedriah!
the Earth image used in Andrew's tutorial is a PNG file wich come with ALPHA channel means transparent area information.
the fact that you are having big white square arround it is due to an incorrect footage interpretation from AE.
anyway the best way to achieve this effect is to use a panoramic earth map and as I did in my video animation and then apply the CC sphere plugin from Cycore(it comes with AE) on it.
