Using cleaner forms of energy has been proven to provide a more balanced/efficient form of life. @derosa1989 There IS mercury in CFL's, In fact if you break one there is an entire Osha/EPA procedure you have to go through just to clean it up. as for disposal of the broken bulb? Better have access to a Hazmat disposal service at your place of work or your looking at a steep fee to dispose of it properly. what do you loose by flushing the toilet? the water ends up back in the water table eventually. after it goes through your wastewater treatment plant or septic tank.

I bet GE makes products in all those areas. They do. They also own MSNBC. The 4th highest revenue CORPORATION in the US, owns the media outlet that spends all day convicing you that Republicans are tied to evil corporations. Its true, Republicans are tied to corporations, competitive and productive ones. The corps to worry about are ones tied to govt deals. DC & GE keep eliminating 80% of upcoming and potential competition for its energy, healthcare. Just like hospitals & schools do it. By law.
