Mosquito XET Turbine helicopter - the flagship model of the five Mosquito ultralight and experimental personal light helicopters. The XET can be used for personal and business transportation, training and extraordinarily inexpensive turbine time building, mustering, aerial imaging, law enforcement patrol, pipeline and powerline surveillance, agricultural spraying in confined areas and a host of other applications where a single place light helicopter is applicable. In the USA the Mosquito XET falls under the experimental category and is built as a kit. For other markets ROTOR F/X also provides a ReadyBuilt model ready to fly for just over $50,000 which can be shipped worldwide.

The Mosquito XET turbine helicopter comes equipped with the advanced MGL Avionics EFIS glass cockpit providing an array of features and capabilities such as moving maps, terrain awareness, full systems management and health monitoring, airport plates, GPS, altitude heading reference, 3D synthetic terrain with highway-in-the-sky navigation, traffic monitoring, route manager and flight data recorder.

The Mosquito XET helicopter is one of five different Mosquito helicopters offered including two ultralight helicopters that do not require any license or flight medical to fly in the USA (the Mosquito AIR and Mosquito XEL). The remaining three models fall under the experimental category and require either a private helicopter or fixed wing license or alternately a recreational helicopter license (the Mosquito XE, Mosquito XE3 and Mosquito XET).

Whats the total cost with engine?

Also What does the training cost to get you up to the point you can solo in this.

How many hrs of dual time, for someone with a fixed wing license that is not current and no Heli time, on average?

The standard XET kit is $41k and the Solar T62-2A1 engine to be purchased off the surplus market can be from $8k to $15k. Assuming you are in the USA you will require a helicopter rating, an add-on in your case which is a minimum of 30 hours of which 20 must be dual. If you combine this with simulator time you should be able to accomplish this in the minimum 30 hour time frame or very close. You could be signed off for solo hover in just a few hours.
