Exactly. But, even many "fans" outside of LA can bandwagon to the Lakers easily because of their status in the NBA. Clippers fans are just the exact opposite, with no bandwagons at all. Simply choosing the Lakers because they are good provides little excitement when they win a title or game. Staying loyal to a certain team regardless of how they play is more rewarding, in my eyes.

Yeah but, being in LA, you could easily have chosen to root for the lakers, the second most successful NBA franchise.
But most lakers fans are assholes and spanish people so.....
maybe you made the right choice.
